Hi Reader, Though I've never been much for superstitions โ or tradition, for that matter! โ when you grow up in the South, eating black eyed peas on New Year's Day is a given. But why kick off the year with plain black eyed peas when it's so easy to make ROCKSTAR B.E.P.s instead? ๐ A few tasty additions like dried herbs and spices, onion, garlic, and canned tomatoes make these so good no one will ever miss the ham hock.
