Hi Reader, About a month ago—under threat of an ice storm—I asked my Facebook crowd what kind of soup I should make next. Chowder-style soups were high on the list, and the idea stuck with me. After some tinkering, it landed here... A potato corn soup that's creamy and comforting like chowder but lighter. It’s colorful and full of sweet corn, which is balanced by just a hint of smokiness.
