Hi Reader, I can't believe we're already halfway through June and Father's Day is just around the corner! If you're planning a special breakfast or brunch, I've rounded up some of my favorite plant-based recipes to help. From fluffy pancakes and French toast to hearty breakfast casseroles and homemade seitan sausage, these recipes make it easy to create a special meal for the dads (and father figures) in your life. Membership Update:A member emailed me this week after using the new Membership Portal for the first time: "OMG... what a difference. No reloading of the page nor ads getting in the way. It was also the first time after many tries where Cook Mode actually worked for a recipe! (I usually cook directly from Pinterest.)" You might be wondering, "If ads are annoying, why not just get rid of them?" The short answer is that running a recipe website is expensive! 💸 There are hosting fees, email services, premium plugins, tech support, recipe testing, photography equipment, editing software... the list goes on. Ads make all of that possible and allow me to continue sharing free recipes with everyone. But I also wanted to create another option for those of you who use the site regularly and would rather browse without distractions. 🤜🤛 That's what the membership is all about: ✨Ad-free recipes and a faster website $4/month or $33/year (save 31%)

Hi Reader, A few months ago I mentioned I had plans to create a few new recipe ebooks. Well, I have two almost finished (ice cream & cheese). I should feel good about this, but y'all, I'm so far down the cheese-testing rabbit hole, I don't know if there's a way out! I really wanted to create a few brand new recipes for the ebook. But apparently, “a few new recipes” is my brain’s way of saying, “Let’s spend 2 months making 47 versions of the same thing.” 😂 Basically, the cheese is now testing...
Hi Reader, I have to admit, I'm not the kind of person who responds well to too much structure. Tell me exactly what I'm supposed to eat every day, and I immediately want to rebel. 😅 I like the kind of meal prep that allows for "going with the flow." Much of the time that means preparing basics that go with everything, like rice, baked tofu, and tahini dressing. Occasionally I find myself in the mood for something specific, a full-meal kind of recipe that I KNOW I like (and never grow tired...
